What NOT To Bring To Camp!

We want the summer camp experience at Mt. Gilead to be authentic and distraction free. We feel technology can pull campers away from meaningful experiences and, oftentimes, valuable relationships that can last a lifetime. For this reason, we ask that campers please do NOT bring cell phones, game boys, tablets, personal music devices (iPods or Tablets) or other such electronics with you to camp. We guarantee campers are going to have more fun without them. Campers should leave expensive watches, jewelry, and electronic items at home. Disposable cameras are great for camp, although campers may bring digital cameras if they wish (not cell phone cameras). For safety reasons, fireworks and pets are not allowed at camp.

Mt. Gilead is a Bikini Free Zone! Out of respect for the different ages and backgrounds of our campers, we ask campers not to bring bikinis to camp. Campers will need to bring a one-piece bathing suit or tankini.
